Shure CBL-M+-K Music Phone Accessory Cable for Shure SE315, SE425, SE535 Headphones (Black)
Review by Paulie : Quality feels cheaper than stock... but not Horrible
Does exactly what it says! Fits the SE215 model of IEM as well! Works well with the iphone... even has a slim connector that lets it fit into the bumper case for the iPhone 4 or the original edge. Good product, I appreciate that they make such an accessory and allow you to choose the IEM to go with it (or vise versa). The ends that snap into the buds are also molded in a way that allows you to still go over the ear, though the wire can easily come off of from over your ear since there isn't a wire mold to help shape and keep it in place.
Hopefully it will last a long time... but for the moment it is fantastic!

Review by Frederic M. Rewey "Fredrrr" : There will be a trade off...
This adapter allows you to get the "3-button" control you may be used to with some headsets - but it does come with a catch...
For starters, I have the Shure SE535's. Love them, but that is a separate review. I ordered this adapter so I could control my iPhone 4 (Volume, tracks, etc).
Pros -
On the plus side, you do get good 3-button control. Basically everything I could do with the Apple headphones, the Shure adapter does as well.
The mic seems very decent (no holding it up to your mouth to talk)
The volume control is NOT a slider. It is actual buttons making it easier to work with.
Cons -
First off, this cord is not set up for "over the ear" like the stock Shure cord is (You can "make it work" but you will still need to keep the cord in the front due to the location of the mic). The over the ear option ads support - but the cord is very thin with no real over the ear reinforcement like the stock cord.
Secondly, and not a big deal, this cord is not the same construction as the one that comes with the Shure SE535 (the Kevlar coated or something like that). These are noticeably thinner but not necessarily cheap in their own right.
Third, no "Clip" for the front (to attach to a shirt or something).
In the end, if you really want the 3-button remote, you will probably be happy. There are not too many options out there.
Shure CBL-M+-K Music Phone Accessory Cable for Shure SE315, SE425, SE535 Headphones (Black)
Review by George G. Kunz : When will Shure get cable right?
Like the others here I am disappointed by the flimsy thin cable. I purchased these to go with the just purchased SE315 and they are perhaps my 4th or 5th pair of Shure earbuds. Great buds, excellent fit but the cables have failed on every pair. And now arrives these rather expensive extremely thin gauge cables. Come on Shure...all that great sound engineering for naught when you can't get the cables right.
Shure CBL-M+-K Music Phone Accessory Cable for Shure SE315, SE425, SE535 Headphones (Black)
Review by Hady Zalek : Crude Packaging and non-Kevlar Cable!
Was pretty disappointed that the packaging was just a plastic bag with some manuals, giving it a non-genuine feel. Was also pretty surprised that the cable wasn't Kevlar like the default cable. Otherwise, all the buttons seems to work alright.

Review by V. Bank "vbank" : Great as a mic, however cables are not up to standard
I was a bit dissappointed to the build quailty for these cables. The stock cables on the 535s are so much better than these. As for sound, they seem to be the same as the stock cables, however I am worried how these will hold up over time. Unless you need the mic for talking on your iphone, I would say stick with the stock cables.
